Find Your Passion In ONE Step

There are many ways to find your passion; I don’t think there is only ONE way to do it.    Some people say do what you find the most enjoyable, which requires to look back, take the time to process and make decisions.  Some say you need to look at people you admire the most and find inspiration.  For me I found my passion out of an impulse, a bet that I made to do something I never did before.  When I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, during the days between the diagnosis and meeting a doctor to...

Tim and Tom a Story of Change

This is the story of Tim and Tom; they were two farmer squirrels living in the middle of a great agriculture area somewhere in a bountiful place.  They cultivated nuts, and they were pretty happy with them.  They were making a good living out if it; they inherited the orchard from their parents, and farming nuts is what they knew how to do.  In fact, they went to school to become farmers, learn farming techniques that include irrigations practices and weed control and many other things.  They were happy to take over the farm their folks built. The Way Things Are, Isn’t Set in Stone.

Though I had plenty of opportunity as an adult to learn about struggle, perseverance, the value of hard work, and what I can achieve, it wasn’t always like that.  In fact as a child living in poverty in a third world country, in the middle of a brutal civil war, I didn’t know any better.  That is the way things were; to me they were normal. I was born in a small town in the western region of Guatemala Central America. When I was growing up, Guatemala was a nation held fast in the grip of war and brutality....

Fearless or Fearing Less a Matter of Perspective

Not long ago, I went out on a run.  I was enjoying the views we are blessed to have in the area where I live, and taking in all in, fear is never on my radar. When I run, I like to think that I am a cheetah and a ninja or a combination of both, fast and silent as I don’t want to disrupt the peace that surrounds me.   On this particular day on the distance,  I saw a couple walking.   These lovebirds were holding hands and enjoying, like me, the views and the trail and...
